A home-raised Stunner son out of the 16-year-old Black Annie U7 cow. He holds the ranch’s weaning weight record (and on a dry year). Trophyclass was a headturner; Not only did he have incredible neck extension, but he’s one of the best-footed bulls we’ve seen. He’s been used heavily in the Hoover Angus program and is a bull we are building our program around. We’re excited to watch his dam’s longevity make an impact across the Angus breed. His first wet daughters are proving to be exceptional cows.

We purchased Promise Land in 2024 and hadn’t been this excited about a bull since Trophyclass. The cornerstone EA Bells Girl 2181 sits right at the front of his pedigree. His genetic package covers the bases of profitable and problem-free beef production, and phenotypically, he was as complete as you will find, with superb structural correctness, length, smooth profiling, and an abundance of dimension throughout. His dam has recorded a production WR 5@103, YR 3@105, RE 3@104, and 362-day calving interval, having settled to first-service AI every year of her production career thus far. She is a maternal sister to the well-known Bells Girl flush of sisters, including the Pathfinder donor EA Bells Girl 7617, best known as the dam of Badlands, Brickhouse, Preeiminent, and Progressive. We lost Promise Land in his first breeding season and are excited to offer his first set of calves in our 2026 sale. His daughters in our replacement pen are in a league of their own, and we’ll continue using him in our breeding program until our tank runs dry.
